No account is required meaning it's very quick to use. For example if you wanted a super easy way to monitor a particular domains authority you could create a mega simple Excel spreadsheet on your computer. Then at the interval you want to check it, perhaps monthly, you could use this tool and record what the domains authority is. If you're actively promoting that website it can provide a nice easy way to see what impact your efforts are having.
